The RAB HBJ is an asphaltic plug type compound which will accommodate dynamic, tensile and compressive sheer stresses. Gap movement of +/- 20 mm in motorway bridge decks can be accommodated. RAB Bridge Joint works in conjunction with all types of bridge membrane systems. Having a high skid resistance capability and a quiet ride, they meet with BD 33/94 & BA 26/94.
