RAB Joint Sealants are high quality, flexible, single pack, jointing compounds
that when heated to their application temperatures are introduced into clean,
previously prepared, joints or cracks. The compound is self leveling whilst
molten. When cooled they form a resilient, tenacious tensile seal against
water infiltration. Remaining flexible at zero temperatures, but not flowing
at warmer ambient ones, gives the finished joint seal a much improved life
expectancy over a greater range of movement factors.

JOINT SIZE:
RAB jointing compounds are considered suitable for joints up to 40mm wide
in traffic surfaces and 65mm in non-trafficked areas. The depth of sealant
should be a minimum of 25mm. Excessive joint depths should be packed with
compressible filler, such as impregnated fibre board. Joints that require
a full depth sealant should have a bond breaker tape placed in the bottom
of the joint in order to prevent 3 way adhesions.
APPLICATION TEMPERATURES:
- Pouring:
- 180 °C to 190 ° C
-
Safe heating: - 200 ° C
