RAB Deck Flashings are hot bonded directly to the prepared structural slab in order to prevent any chance of water penetration through the joint or defective slab.
The purpose made flashings are fixed centrally over all likely movement joints, cracks, day or construction joints, either vertically or horizontally by using RAB Hot Bond Compound. This product permanently fuses the flashing on either side of the movement zone in order to form a completely watertight seal. Coupled with the in built flexibility of the flashing any imposed structural movement is fully accommodated in a flexible, waterproofed, controlled zone at all times.

RAB Deck Flashings fixed below any surface finish becomes maintenance free. They will not allow any water to track underneath the flashing edges even if the overlaying material is not impervious or suffers puncture damage.
Unlike other deck bonding mediums RAB Hot Bond Compound will remain flexible throughout it’s matrix, even at minus 30 degrees centigrade, without brittlement. It is used on most common building materials such as brick, concrete, stone, air entrained concrete blocks, masonry and ashpalt.
